Resveratrol is a compound found primarily in red wine, though in our product it comes from the Japanese Knotweed plant. Resveratrol belongs to a group of polyphenols, which are thought to possess antioxidant properties.
An average glass of red wine is estimated to provide approximately 1mg of resveratrol, while a handful of peanuts provide about 73µg of resveratrol. Micrograms (µg) are 1000 times smaller than milligrams (mg).
